Here is one I forged out of 80crv2. I antiqued the blade so that you can abuse it and it will not show any damage. All it takes is a bit of a scrubbing with 400 grit sandpaper to bring it back.
The handle is natural micarta with a half wrap. The wrap is micro paracord and a turks head knot that has been epoxy soaked so it is incredibly durable.
The sheath is kydex with a removable belt loop. The loop can be moved to either side so it is ambidextrous, or it can be removed completely and strapped to a pack.
