Back about 2015 I met a gentleman named Jared Foster from Colorado City, TX. He was a knifemaker. After we attended several knife get-togethers, one time he brought a bucket of 2" ball bearings from the windmill farms. He was killed in a car wreck at age 39 in 2019ish. This knife is forged from one of Jared's bearings. I intended it to be in my passing JS set, because that was one of Jared's goals as well, but I didn't pass.

This knife has a 7" blade forged from the bearing. Handle is ringed gidgee, and the sheath is my work as well. Good distal taper on the blade, but the handle and guard are also nice and thin. $750

I live 30 miles from CC, Texas! Nice blade to honor your Texas friend!

Not much in that country lol. Robert Lee? Snyder? Dunn? Woodson? I'm in Lubbock now, but drive through CC on my way to the ranch down by Eldorado.

Very nice Sir. I like how you blend the transition from the choil to the edge. I have some knives that I have been bitten by, near the end of the edge just forward of the choil.
