RED ALERT: For the love of blades, don't make me put these on ebay! Canadian discount now applied for all BF members.
It's long become painfully obvious that I need more forging power to continue making titanium alloy swords. I have a great (and fleeting) opportunity to get ahold of a real triphammer, which will allow the making of bigger, better, more badass swords and knives in the future! Support the advancement of forged beta titanium swords with the purchase of an edged goodie!
All three blades are forged out of rare 89.5Ti 10Nb 0.5Fe beta metastable titanium alloy, and are distally-tapered. Expect them to perform the same duties as any high-quality steel alloy analog, with about 35% in weight reduction. They can not rust, and are rigid yet flexible, very tough.
Item 1:
"Skyship Captain's Cutlass" $375 Sold, shipped and insured to USA/Canada.
Modeled as a small Chinese dao saber. It has stupendous balance. This small sword is very sharp and solid, ready for some choppin'.
Hilt: Solid copper, rubber, waxed cord, deerskin lace
Weight: 1 lb, 8 oz
Length: 25" OAL, 7" hilt, 18" blade
No sheath (potential buyer: one can be made upon request)
More information and pics here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1223477-Skyship-Captain-s-cutlass
Item 2:
"Undergrowth Organizer" $275 Sold shipped and insured to USA/Canada
A light-weight saber-like blade for use as a machete or trailblazing/hiking implement. EDIT: Forgot to grind the secondary edge bevel before the pics! Blade will be sharpened, of course.
Grip: Waxed cord, deerskin lace
Weight: 12 oz
Length: 23.5", blade about 17"
This blade comes with a nice leather sheath, made of cow and deerskin (Made by leathermistress Øye)
Item 3: $275 shipped and insured to USA/Canada
A spear head, similar to a yari, unmounted. It's strong and can be used for hog hunting if hafted well. Triangle-section blade.
Weight 8.4 oz
Length: 18 3/4" OAL, almost 14" blade length to the tang.
Thanks for looking everyone. Remember that your beta titanium goodie purchase supports my much-needed trip-hammer fund.
