This knife was forged from Aldo's 1084. The blade is 5 1/4" to the guard and the handle is 5". The guard is from mild steel and the spacer is Micarta. This is the 3rd hidden tang that I have done and I am very pleased with the way this one turned out. There are a couple of hammer marks that didn't come all the way out. You can see the small dot in the pictures.

Steel: Aldo's 1084
Blade: 5 1/4", 1 3/16" wide
Handle: 5" Cherry stained with leather dye. Held together with JB weld and G-flex and a penned brass pin.
Grind: Flat ground with convex edge.
Sheath: Hand tooled and stitched leather

$185 shipped.

Beautiful knife, I love that blade shape. It might be the pictures but it almost looks like a spear point to me. I was in Weaverville a few weeks ago, beautiful area.

Thanks, It is on the spear point side of a Bowie. The next time you come up here holler at me I'll show you my shop.

Thanks Capitalized I will be eligible to take my Journeyman test next year so I'm working on more challenging knives.

That came out great! I have some cherry. I may have to stain it and use it. It looks great!
