Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my Evenheat furnace with three normalizing and two tempering cycles to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain throughout the blade
Flat grind with forged texture on the flats
The handle is mountain laurel, a very hard wood that was used by the old folks here for tool handles. Looks a little like stag. I tried having some stabilized but the resin would not penetrate into the core.
Overall length: 11 1/2 inches
Blade: 7 inches
Leather sheath for a right hand carry
SOLD delivered within the US. My PayPal and email address is gldrewknives@gmail.com
