  • Blade Material - XIP Hand Forged Cable Damascus, 6" OAL - 2-1/2" Blade, Flat Ground to .015
  • Handle Material - Black paracord wrapped (core removed for nice flat wrap), handle is slotted underneath wrap to reduce weight (even looks great without the wrap)
  • Heat Treat - Evenheat w/PBC coating then quenched in ToughQuench, tempered three times @ 1-1/2 hours each for a final RC of 57-59 (hey, it's cable!)
  • Finish - Hand rubbed to 1200 then blackened and burnished for a look that really brings out the "snakeskin" or "Lizard skin" features
  • Sheath - Kydex with small Tek-Lok

Nice score, that's some of the nicest cable damascus I've seen in a while. Most of the stuff I've seen doesn't even show the cable well, just looks like regular steel.

Very nicely done. I'm just glad someone bought this, because I wanted it and can't afford it;)

Hi David...

payment sent...great looking knife...looking forward to seeing it in hand.

Hi David, I agree with everyone else, that is a great looking knife! I love cable, and you did a great job with that piece! :)
