I carry one of these in my day pack which is always in my truck so that it goes in the woods with me every time. My sons and I field tested these this deer season and used them to cut branches and small trees, disjointed leg bones when we butchered, cut through the backbone of several deer. They held up great.

Forged from 1 inch 1080 bar stock
Differentially heat treated so the edge is 58-60 Rc and the body somewhat softer. These hold an excellent edge but cannot be sharpened with a file like most axes. You would need a stone the same as with your knife
Hickory handle that I modified from a hatchet handle
Total length the handle and head is 12 3/4 inches
Head length is 7 inches with a cutting edge of 2 1/2 inches
Please note how thin I forged the edge. I like the way it worked on small trees and branches.
Weight is 2 pounds
Leather edge cover has not belt loop

SOLD delivered to the US or Canada. My PayPal account and email is gldrewknives@gmail.com Please feel free to contact me with other payment methods or overseas shipping costs.

There will be more, guys. I will be teaching a class on making these next month and hope to have a couple at that time.
