Hello again, today I have a forged chopper to list. It's made from 80CRV2 and sports a forged fuller, a distal tapered tang, and a convex ground bevel with a false clip. The finish is rustic and features forging texture plus a working belt finish. The forging texture has cold bluing applied to darken its appearance. This blade was heat treated by me in my knife kiln. The handle dyed hard maple with brass pins. This knife ships in a knife case from ace cases (no sheath) which can also be used for storage.
Price = $235 shipped
Specifications:
Overall Length: 16 7/8"
Blade Length: 11 1/2" (measured from top)
Handle Length: 5 3/4" (measured from the top) 4" (on the bottem)
Thickness: *1/4" (forged from 1/4 on sized stock and comes in slightly under 1/4" at it's thickest point)
Blade Steel: 80CRV2
Handle Material: Dyed Hard Maple w/Danish oil finish
Pin Material: 1/8" Brass
