Olive.
Forged, rabbetted tang drop point hunter, fully flat ground with distal taper. The blade is heavy coil spring from a GT Mustang, I think its 5160 (and it heat treats like 5160) but Im not gonna lie, just making an educated guess on this one clay quenched and tempered with nice visible temperline.
Olive drab green Micarta scales with contoured grip, good palm swell. Nickel silver guard, soldered on, with starfish mosaic pin and SS thong tube. Overall length is 10, blade is 5-3/8 point to guard. Included in price is molded pouch type sheath, nice veg-tanned horsehide, you specify RH or LH carry and natural or black finish on sheath, or if you don't want the sheath, knock $20.00 off of the price. Price also includes shipping anywhere in the contiguous 48 states.
$240.00 U.S. asking price.
Check out the fit on this one, fellas (and ladies)- yeah, its a rabbetted tang, but where is the glue joint? Take a look at the solder joint, too. Clean and minimal. Not trying to boast, I just almost want to keep this one. It feels light and comfortable in the hand for a blade pretty near 3/16 at the spine. Edge is not paper thin, but not clumsy or hard to sharpen, either. A cutter. (for those of you that may have noticed, I took pics before sharpening- shipped hair popping sharp, of course.)
I make knives to the best of my ability and knowledge. I research to find the best materials and methods to use, in order to provide the very best product, in terms of value, durability, performance, and aesthetics. Should you find a knife you have bought from me to be lacking in any of these respects, you may ship it back to me at my expense for a full money-back return.
Should a knife purchased from me fail in materials or workmanship, please ship it back to me at my own expense for your money back in full, or repairs at no cost. Your choice.
I will sharpen any of my knives at no cost, however I do ask that you pay for shipping costs for this service.
I am always pleased to hear from any of my customers, past, repeat, potential, or otherwise. Please go to my website, see "Contact Me" and give me a call. If you have any questions regarding these policies, I'd like to hear them.
I have this posted on my site as well, so first time stamp gets it...
