Fighting style bowie forged from 1084/15n20/nickel random pattern damascus. The blade has a long and gradual distal taper making it light and very quick in the hand. Balance point is right at the oval guard. It has a false edge from the point back 3" which is not sharp, but could be if wanted. I've tried to show the pattern in the blade, but the photos don't pick up the real movement in the steel. The handle is stabilized amboyna burl with tons of figure which is centered with buffalo horn spacers front and back and contoured to fit the hand. Both the guard and pommel are polished 01. Construction of the handle is a through tang threaded into the pommel. Included is a custom sheath and display stand with amboyna inlay.
