I think this knife is just about the right size for the small game and white tail hunter. Easy to carry but large enough to get the job done.

Forged 5160 steel
Flat ground
Hand sanded finish to 400 grit
Tapered tang and distal taper
Cocobolo handle
Overall length: 8 1/4 inches
Blade to the plunge line: 3 3/4 inches
Hand sewn leather scabbard

Gerry, that's got to be one my favorites of all your designs. The apparent balance must make it feel like a nautral extension of your hand...a real plus when your up to your elbows inside a deer.

I can't stand it! Winter heating bills, saving up for three "must do" trips in the upcoming months, and now drducati is putting the screws to my sorely tried resistance! Oooohhh, that hurts! But, if I give in.... But, if I don't..... This is awful! (But, can you tell? One thing I ain't is "asleep at the switch"! )
