I guess any knife could be a fighter. This one is forged from 1084 and has a visible hamon. It is one of the few hidden tang knives I have done. I recently bought a file guide from uncle Al, and now the shoulders fit flawlessly. Definately worth the money.

Anyways, the handle is black linen micarta with black G-10 spacers. I put some red and black liners in there too for contrast.

The sheath is ebonized leather with some decorative scrollwork just for fun. The snap holds the knife securely.

Dimensions
Blade - 4 1/4" tip to guard
OAL - 9 1/4"

Price - $190 shipped to CONUS. I prefer paypal but will accept check or money order.

The first "I'll take it!" gets it.

Wow, this is a very nice looking knife Matt. is the handle a bit on the large size (circumference ?), best for a larger hand ?

As far as the handle size, I think it is actually a bit on the small size. I used a hunk of linen micarta that I kinda wish was thicker. Here is a shot of it from the top

I would have liked to have been able to do a bit more with it along the lines of shaping. Dont get me wrong, it feels good in the hand, I just generally like fluid shapes to the handles.

Thank you Warren! I logged on about a minute after Mr. Baily posted this fighter, and was hoping someone would snap it up before I broke down. I will say that I think the handle is perfect and doesn't need to be tapered in towards the butt. It looks perfect for a medium sized hand. I think my favorite part of the knife has to be the guard. It works really well with that design.

I think if you made a few more fighters along these lines with similar pricing, they will go fast.

Is there a slight recurve to the edge or is it a camera trick?

I have a couple of other hidden tangs on the block so you may see some others soon. The blade does have a bit of a recurve to it. Thanks for the comments.

yep, me too, glad it's 'gone'; i can't afford or resist it; so, situation now solved !
i really like the "shorter" Fighter style blade. looks "all business", esp. with that neat guard, and is more useable than a longer blade for all applications other than fighting.
look forward to seeing more.

Lovely knife, i am glad its gone too, so close to spending my lunch money
G-10 guard on the next one please (same colors very sexy)

I knew you guys were suffering, so I figured I had to help. ;)

Check your email, Matt--I have a payment question

i may get into trouble for this but this is an AMAZING looking knife... such clean lines...
i wish i saw it first and had the money to buy... GREAT work...
is this a one off or will another or three maybe find their way to market in future??

Sorry, the ruger stays with me. Love that gun. I can shoot all day on $15. I guess with a response like that, there should be more on the table. Guess I have some work to do.

Thanks for all the interest.
