Forged from a coil spring

I forged this form a coil spring.
5 1/2" blade and OAL of 10", stainless fittings and stag.

It was fun to make, the idea of taking the old spring and turning it into something useable just does something for me.

Very nice Mike. How long approx of the spring was needed? I'd like to try using a Coil spring:thumbup:

I find that finger groove/choil thing to really detract from an otherwise excellent looking knife.
