This is a little departure from my usual style, but a good one to do. It's forged from one of Delbert Ealy's damascus billets that is 1095, 15n20, and mild steel. Great steel to work with and shows really interesting patterns. Through forging the initial pattern changes but holds true on each side. The handle is a rich piece of osage orange with nickel silver guard, buffalo horn and nickel silver spacers. This is a thin handled knife with great balance right behind the guard, very light and quick. Spec's are:
OAL: 8 3/4"
Blade: 4" to ricasso
Width: 5/8"
Thickness: 3/32" at ricasso
Steel: Delbert Ealy damascus, edge quenched
Price: $175.00 includes shipping CONUS and sheath. PayPal, money order or check.SOLD, THANKS ASKOLD

Overall knife looks outstanding, very nice designed blade, guard area and handle. Plus IMO I like a knife the has some length to it.

I like your details when you state the actual cutting length of the blade :)

I've been liking thin knives lately and this one fits that thinking really nicely. Excellent work. Let's see some more!

I had the opportunity to handle this knife today and it is a beauty. Very light weight and compact. The damascus is absolutely stunning; nicely etched for a deep contrast. Rick's sheathes are a work of art too!

Oh boy! Is that beautiful or what? I'm really liking those spacers which give off a very nice contrast. Great work!

Hello Rick,

That's very nice - I'd like to buy that.

First time for me buying right off this site - please send me instructions on how this works.

Thanks
