Heres another forged hammer poll hawk..Forged from a bar of 1060 steel..Edge hardened and tempered..The poll is hardened and tempered like a regular hammer..Forge finish, polished edge and poll..Straight grain Ash haft..Stained, sealed with boiled linseed oil and finished with wax..

I have been waiting for one of your hawks for a while now and i think it is a mark of your craftsmanship and the demand that every single time I see one posted it is gone within minutes. I thought that 30 minutes would be plenty of time to snag... especially at 2:00pm on a friday!

You make some of my favorite axes and hawks. I love the simplicity of the designs and the traditional look of the forged heads! Maybe some day there will be that perfect combination of money and timing and ill finally be able to get one!
