Well heres another of my hammer poll camp hawks..Its forged from a bar of 1060 high carbon steel. The cutting edge is 3" wide and the head is 5 7/8" long overall..The cutting bit and hammer poll are both heat treated..The poll is treated just like a regular hammer..It has a forge finish and polished edge, very sharp..
The haft is straight grain Ash, stained, sealed with boiled linseed oil and finished with wax..

Great work Lisa!

I was the first to view this post and almost took it. I have other hawks coming from Lisa soon and will have to wait for another hammer poll similar to this.
