Here is a forged hammer poll-I usually forge these from 1" square,but I was out of material and decided to make this one out of a 24 oz. ball pein and it turned out pretty nicely I think---it has a curly maple haft---etched finish--filework and an edge cover with copper rivets--SPECS---19 " oal---7 3/4" edge to poll---2 5/8" cutting edge---$185.00 w/shipping ins. signature conf. You wouldn't be sorry Tim. It's more comfortable to handle than I thought it could possibly be. And lightweight enough that it may be coming with me on an upcoming week of backpacking.

Now I might need a spike. *Sigh*... I knew this forum was going to be trouble. :rolleyes:
