This is a forged hammer poll hawk made from a "Vaughan" brand ball peen hammer. Vaughan uses 1080 for the hammer heads..The cutting edge is 2 3/4" wide and the head is 7 1/2" long..The head has been etched to a nice aged patina. The spine of the blade has some light filework. Edge hardened and tempered..The haft is nice curly ash, stained with aqua fortis, rubbed with boiled linseed oil and finished with wax..We are asking SOLD The paypal address is phllpwest@bellsouth.net
