This hawk was forged from an American made ball peen hammer..Edge hardened and double tempered..Some light filework on spine and aged patina..................................The cutting edge is 3 3/8" wide, the head is 7 3/4" long overall..
The haft is nice curly maple, stained with aqua fortis, sealed with boiled linseed oil and finished with wax..The sheath is a new type we'er trying..Its made from 8oz leather, hand sewn and tooled..

Received the hawk today, and it's fantastic! I really like the new sheath design. It really locks onto the head with no wobble at all. And this is the sharpest out of the box hawk I've received to date! Slices cleanly through paper with zero tearing. :D
