Here is a camp hatchet/hawk I forged from 80crv2. I put a polish on the blade and honed the edge.

The handle is curly maple I charred quickly with a torch and sanded to bring out the figure. It is held in place with flared tubing and epoxy.

The blade cover is 7-8oz leather.

Dimensions
Blade cutting edge - 5”
Blade width spine to edge - 4”
OAL- 13”

Price - $285.

I have this posted elsewhere so the first time stamp saying, “I’ll take it!” Gets it.

Wow!!

Absolute great design!

Overall profile is pretty and the hole in the head really looks at home.

I like the use of the three tubes as potential lanyard attachment points as well.

👌
