Not a large knife but it fits very well in the hand with it's rounded handle and low center of gravity. Just a nice size white tail hunter. This one balances heavy to the handle which I like because the knife settles itself in the palm of the hand ready for use.

Forged 5160
Flat ground
Distal taper to the point with a tapered tang
Approximately 3/16 inch thick at the guard
Hand sanded finish to 600 grit
Cocobolo handle
Overall length: 7 3/4 inches
Blade: 3 1/2 inches
Hand sewn leather scabbard

$140 ----SOLD---- delivered to the US or Canada My PayPal account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com I will take your check with time to clear or USPS money orders

Got the PP but just missed the mail carrier. Your knife will go out in the morning. Thank you for your business.
Gerry

That didn't take long!:D
These forged knives are the best Gerry has ever made. The blade shape is functionally great and the balance is superb!:thumbup:

Is that a new/updated maker's mark I see?

Yes, I added the anvil to designate my forged knives. The one you bought has it too even though it didn't show in the photos. (Hope this is OK; I added it to that knife because I was going to take it to a show this week-end.)

I'm sorry I missed this one Gerry. It's a little beauty! I also like the new anvil on the forged blades. I did not see that on my moose antler/forged blade you made ( which I love!)

Hey Gerry, you referring to the Charlotte Show? I'm going to try to make it. Hopefully I'll see you there.

That's the one Dr. Fox ( and congratulations on the new MD behind your name) see you there!

I don't mind at all. It makes sense now that you're forging as well. Looking forward to checking out my first FORGED knife from you.

I love your work. Keep it up!

After having had the pleasure of using this knife for the past couple of days, I had to followup with a great big THANK YOU Gerry!

This is a great knife with the perfect blade shape for many tasks and the grip has no hot spots with its smooth full warm wood grip. The blade is holding its edge and appears to be one that will require very little maintenance to get its smooth handling flat ground profile back in shape. The Cocobolo wood is finished just right to show its beauty yet provide a secure grip.

Great fit and finish as always from GL Drew!
