Forged Hunter

This knife was commissioned for a customer wanting a stout hunting knife with Purple Heart scales. I laid it out in the sun to darken the scales and a small crack appeared behind the last pin so I made the customer another one. I fixed the crack with super glue and I am listing the knife at a discounted price. It is forged from 1084 with a 3 5/8" blade. Handle is 4 1/4". The Purple Heart Scales are held on with G-flex and six brass pins. Heat treated in an Even Heat oven and quenched in Parks 50. Triple normalized and triple draw to an RC of 57-58. Flat ground with a convex edge. This knife is scary sharp!
