1. SOLD - Matt Bailey Large Hay Rake Knife. This is Matt’s first in this larger size, forged from 01 steel, handle is ironwood. OAL is 9.5” with a 4.5” cutting edge. Sheath is made from 7-8oz. Wicket and Craig leather that was tooled by Matt.
Here’s the original sale thread with a video of the knife and more pictures. I purchased this direct from Matt and it has not been used or carried. Very lightweight and comfortable in the hand! My pics don’t do the ironwood’s grain any justice, there’s a whole lot of flame grain that my camera has a hard time picking up but it’s there!
2. $295 - Bruce Barnett J.S. Hunter with Ringed Gidgee handle. OAL is 9.4”, blade is 4.8” and is hand forged from 1084 steel. There’s a visible hamon that is not picked up in the pictures but it’s clear to see in hand. The guard is stainless to include a copper spacer. The sheath is Cape Buffalo leather. Never used or carried.
