Forged in Fire contestants introduction thread

Thank you, Rich. please pardon the long post up there guys. I didn't realize it was that long till I saw it posted. 😂

RYU, very impressed with your skills and how you carry yourself. I wish you much success in being able to continue forging and kicking ass!

Thanks for introducing yourselves everyone. I really wish that this show was available up here in Canada. I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Ryu, loved it when the firemen came to your house to complain! :D

You get major points for having a volcano burn down your shop. Not many folks can work that kind of thing into their story!

Thanks for the intros, everyone.

Ryu, I was losing my shit when you grabbed the angle grinder, and cheering and cackling like mad when you won the show. :D

I've really enjoyed the other thread, talking about the show, but this one has warmed my heart. While I love knives and could talk about them forever, it's the cast of characters that really draws me in. I can easily see the difference between competitors on this show and those on others.

One of my best experiences was attending a ABS Hammer In. It's so clear in that environment that you are with very good company.

My congratulations and thanks for making my Monday nights fun!

VaughnT, Thank you so much sir. Yeah the firemen were cool. They could've gotten me in trouble but they chose
To let me slide cause they liked blades and the idea of somebody in their town makes them. The writer on our local paper wasn't so thrilled after watching the show though. She wanted to put me on the local paper but backed out after seeing the show. :)

wow great thread.
my wife and i try and catch every show.
its great hearing all of you guys chime in.
lots of talented people and RYU we enjoyed watching you work.

David Roeder here. Filmed Ep 1. First officially to discover the inadiquate electric for the grinders, and official smart ass.
I don't have a website, I just use Facebook.

Look me up as David Roeder J.S. That's me..

Recall seeing a nice WIP thread a customer of yours posted. It was a fighter style blade made from cable damascus about 6 months back. Excellent work

Did you see the look on the firemen face they just could not believe what they were seeing and what was being created. I bet that made their day I know it would of made mine

I like what you're doing on your page, but would it be possible to group the 4 contestants for each time together with a short bio about each? I know that's asking a LOTS, but it sure would make a nice page. You're doing good work there. I didn't leave a reply on your page, didn't wish to clutter it up when you've got such a nice start.

Thanks for the work,

Ken H>

The page is still a work in progress eventually that's what I'm trying to do the contestants are sending me their information slowly once I have everyone's information then I will group them all by episode

Normally IMDB does that for each tv and movie,

If the producers have or can register to edit that would be a good place to put info

Hello guys, I just wanted to post the page that I've started to list the contestants on my page. https://pokabuforge.wordpress.com/history-channels-forged-in-fire-contestants/
Not a bad ieas and nice way to pull traffic to you.

I agree, organize according to episode

Try and make youself a template of info for each person
Name, website....
For example, the first guy holding the kid - no mention of his name on there.

I'll be damned, I totally missed matts name....lol that's why I'm not a web designer I guess :) thank you for the input, it's greatly appreciated. I'm still tweaking it so bare with me for a while since I have a business to run as a day job and trying to keep up with knife orders as well.
