I enjoyed it last season even though some segments are tedious.
Definitely worth a look imho if y enjoy knives.

What are your thoughts on the show?

I can't help it, I like it. But I like just about anything to do with knives. 35 yrs old and been collecting since I was 3. Lol

I love it. Even the corny parts.
What is not to like. I listen and learn things as well. Really helps when your just learning to make knives and you are still creative ;)

I wish I had cable.
We have minimized to netflix and the internet.
Oh, we do get up to channel 20 for PBS and sport events.

Never heard it. I don't use the TV much, but maybe I can figure out which dang remote turns it on and will try to look it up and set to record. Thanks for the heads up.

Well ain't that great, haven't had cable for around 1/2 a year.:grumpy: I did like last season too. Need cable!

My dad kept telling me to watch it but I always forgot to dvr it. The dvr is set now though.

I enjoyed it for what it is (as I did the first season.)

I had it on dvr and I liked it. My 10 year son actually sat with me and watched not one but both episodes! Now he figures good ole dad should be able to make a knife like the guys on tv.

I most look forward to the final challenges when the bladesmiths work out of their home forges. I alternate between being green with jealousy and wondering how in the heck that's even legal depending on the set up of their forges.

my favorite part of the show is at the end when they are testing the knives and the judge says "this blade will kill." always makes me laugh.

That part is starting to get a bit old. A pencil will kill too, sport. The whole exchange with "surrender your weapon" and trying out the knives on ballistic dummies gets a bit ludicrous when a contestant makes a chef's knife -- "It will slice a tomato but...will it keeeiill???"
