Forged in Fire

that's better than the other contestants by far! and it looks like a real khuk.nice curvey unbroken spine & a cho too. i'm sure aunty would have a job for you. not sure doing what, but you wouldn't starve. :D did you harden it by eye with a boiling kettle?

Two bloody days, including blowing up the first handle:

You are the only, I repeat, only person I'd consider buying a kukri from other than Auntie. You actually make kukris, and not hunks of metal that belong in the garbage or are just bolos getting called kukris.

JW's kardas and chakmas are some of my favorite tools for maintaining ALL my knives. I don't have the pleasure of owning one of his Khuk's but all the ones I have seen pictures of are extremely traditional styled. But if you really want to see his best work, get a hold of one of his Scorpions. But yes, If I was buying a Khuk that wasn't from HI or a Nepali Village Kami vetted by Auntie, it would be one of JW's (though if Bookie ever tried to duplicate his bestest curved spine Khuk, I would certainly trust him to do a great job too.)

JW, if you DO decide to compete after watching some of the shows based on the results so many of the shows have, I can't imagine you not winning unless something really strange happens. Some of the competitors seem to barely have what I would call modest amounts of talent. I would certainly expect that you would fairly easily get to the final stage.

I'm surprised they would let JW play. Don't seem hardly fair to the competition.

Be like T ball players taking on the Mariners.

His Scorpions do look good. I showed a picture of one to a friend, and pretty soon he was inquiring into wait times. I think he hasn't ordered one yet, but he probably will. At some point I will have to order something from him.

And Bawanna, given what I hear about the Mariners, I'm not certain they would beat the T ball players.

I got an invite-I guess I should probably watch the darn show before I make any decisions.

Dont sell out to the mainstream media my friend! You are seriously talented and dont need that. We will keep your fire burning right here and everywhere else we can but for the sake of all honest hard working craftsman dont do it. You got it already!
