“Gazelle.”

Forged integral fighter/carver- long clip point blade is heavy coil spring from GT Mustang, I think it’s 5160 (and it heat treats like 5160) but I’m not gonna lie, just making an educated guess on this one… clay quenched and tempered with very mild temperline visible on the heel of the blade, looks nice up close but minimal.

I did not put a maker's mark on this one, I just didn't think it would look right stamped on... I can, of course send a certificate of authorship if you wish.

Hand rubbed to 600 grit. Black/brass/black spacers, with oosic spacer and zebrawood hilt. SS pin. Overall length is 12”, blade is 6-5/8” point to heel. Included in price is the pictured sheath, snap enclosure folded and molded type with nice veg-tanned horsehide construction and natural finish. Also included in price is shipping anywhere in the contiguous 48 states. For shipping anywhere else, we can figure it out by E-mail or PM.

$280.00 U.S. Asking price.
Price dropped to $260.

I make knives to the best of my ability and knowledge. I research to find the best materials and methods to use, in order to provide the very best product, in terms of value, durability, performance, and aesthetics. Should you find a knife you have bought from me to be lacking in any of these respects, you may ship it back to me at my expense for a full money-back return.

Should a knife purchased from me fail in materials or workmanship, please ship it back to me at my own expense for your money back in full, or repairs at no cost. Your choice.

I will sharpen any of my knives at no cost, however I do ask that you pay for shipping costs for this service.

I am always pleased to hear from any of my customers, past, repeat, potential, or otherwise. Please go to my website, see "Contact Me" and give me a call. If you have any questions regarding these policies, I'd like to hear them.

I have this listed on my website, too, so first timestamp "I'll take it" gets it.

Thanks for looking, all.

To me the knife just looks right. Not a lot of exotic materials to tke your eye off the total package. Size and shape look real fine. Someone should be happy with this knife for a long time.

Hi Salem,

I agree with Floyd about the balance of materials and thoughtfulness of design and execution. Beautiful fit & finish too. A nice hidden tang forged integral with your guarantee as a maker is a bargain at your price point.

I'm with you about the 5160 guess.

There's another purchase that I'm trying hard to squeak out funds for right now; otherwise this would be mine. I agree on the above comments, and have to say that I'm surprised at the flow achieved despite (or because ot?) the visual contrasts. It's just plain fun to look at.

It's also just plain fun to hold. Sooner or later, someone besides me (and family and friends) is bound to discover that. BTT, baby. One more time.

Btt. I like micarta almost better than anything else so I see where you're coming from... but what the heck am I supposed to do with this chunk of oosic I've had for a few years?

I ended up picking this one up, and it showed up today. Truly beautiful lines and as good as the pictures look the contrast of the wood in the handle is amazing in person. This knife reminds me very much of Dan Grave's work--in that it gives the impression of being both delicate and robust at the same time; trim lines but very solid. Very pleased
