Forged L6 bowie

The blade is all ground and just finishing up the hand rubbing. It turned out very nice, better then i expected . leaving a little extra material on the blade made a huge diffrence in cleaning up the forging. the blade is L6 and was forged to shape. ok enought talk picture time .

It started out looking like this, this knife was forged from a bar of steel that is the same size as the one under the knife in this picture.

I'm going to be forging out another one tonight and im going to try and hit a 13" long blade that is 2.25 wide. we will se how that goes
