Forged Neck Dagger

I forged this from Aldos 1084. Heat treat and temper by myself. Blade is sharpened both edges , but not to razor edge.

AOL ...5.25"
Blade ...3.625" Thickness at ricasso .125" Forced patina
Handle... Elk with brass
Sheath... Hand stitched with kydex insert for blade retention.

The section of kydex is heated to the shape of a leaf spring then threaded into the leather. This holds the blade very well. Kind of ugly but its on the back of the sheath.
