Forged Nessmuk - Stacked leather and stag

Up for sale is a forged Nessmuk blade. This was forged from 1/2" W1 drill rod, with 1% carbon. HT done by me in my evenheat kiln, triple normalized for grain refinement.

I tried to make this as traditional looking as possible, while using modern techniques to ensure the knife will last a lifetime.


Blade:
OAL: 8"
Blade length: 3-1/4"
Height: 13/16"
Thickness: .1" at the ricasso.
Machine satin finish

There is a ghostly hamon line on this knife that has not been etched. It is very subtle and can be seen in certain light.

Stacked leather and mule deer stag crown.
