Wanted this one to fit in that era when there was lots of inter-action between all the people in the western plains. The blade is forged from blacksmith rasp with the file marks still showing on the spine. The guard has been cold browned and worked to show age. Maybe a guard that started some place else and ended up here. Handle is white tail leg bone with mild steel pin. Decoration is red bead, felt wrap, bone pipes aged tin cones and horse hair tassels. Sheath is veg-tan, painted with Hunkpapa Sioux design, elk button, bone pipes, red and blue beads, felt wraps, aged tin cones and horse hair tassels. It's designed to run a belt or sash through the loop over the sheath for either side carry. Spec's are:
OAL: 10"
Blade: 4 3/4" to ricasso
Width: 15/16"
Thickness: 1/8"
Price: $375 Includes shippping CONUS. PayPal (ruger315@charter.net), money order, check.
