This is a tomahawk forged from a rasp with a high carbon steel cutting bit welded in. The cutting bit is about 1075. The head is 5 1/2" long and the cutting edge is 3 1/2" wide. Some light filework on the spine. Rasp texture left around the eye.
The haft is hickory. Burned, stained and coated with boiled linseed oil.
