Maybe a little like a Nessmuk? I added a lanyard ring just because I can do that kind of thing at the forge.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Flat ground
Tapered tang and distal taper on the blade
Hammered finish on the flats
Hand sanded blade to 400 grit
Vinegar etch to a pewter color
Curly maple handle
Overall length: 8 7/8 inches not including the lanyard ring
Sharpened blade: 4 1/4 inches
Riveted leather scabbard

$140 delivered to the US or Canada. My PP account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com I will also take check or USPS money orders.

This is a very special new development in your knife making! What beautiful wood! What a thoughtful shape and finish to the blade! And perhaps most of all, what a neat twist in the ring suggestive of a flint knapper that might be found on a patch knife! Who'd a "thunk" it? Only Gerry!

The flint knapper was my thought too but only decorative in my opinion. I usually carry a Bic in the woods with me.

I'm shocked that this one is still here Jerry, everyone must be as short on funds as I am !!!
