I've finally made a knife ! Been slow the last few weeks. Heres one I just completed last evening for a customer in Canada.
Forged 1095 steel. 5inch blade with a 1inch choil, simple hamon, satin hand rubbed. 416SS guard stacked with 3035T2 aircraft aluminium and black linen Micarta & G10 spacers. Red Deer stag handles fully polished. OAL - 10inches. Balances on the index finger and feels good in either hand.
The filework is in the shape of a stylised "duck" (you need some imagination) which is a little in-joke between my wife and I (I'm a "quack", get it ?)
Hope you guys like it. All feedback appreciated. Jason.
