Blade is foged CPM154 ( just to reduce the thickness primarily). I did a very thorough job of stress releif prior to heat treating. Hardness is 59rc and measures 4.5" tip to guard with 800 grit hand rubbed finish. The spine is radiused.

The guard and grip cap style pommel are rust browned mild steel. The guard is engraved with American scrolls and a "thick and thin" border. The rust browning gives it a "vintage" look. The handle is stabilized English walnut from left over wood of a Dakota rifle stock. The finial is heat colored mild steel. it is a take down piece BTW. Overall it measures just under 10".

Included is a sheath with elephant hide overlay.

Price is sold shipped conus. I accept paypal, visa/mc and of course check or MO.

Thanks!!

Beautiful work...I just bought a nice Bowie by you...it is utterly amazing! I am not worthy!!!

Mr. Bradshaw: "Somebody make me a freakin offer!! "
i don't have $500 to spend on a knife right now.
this is a very classy knife, a lot of style, and i'm sure excellent workmanship. i just cannot make you an offer because i feel it would be an insult to both you and the knife.
i imagine there are many others who feel this way too. so if "freakin offers" are slow in coming, it is not because your knife is not desired.

Roland,

I appreciate your reply and understand what you are saying. I should have added a smiley face or something as there was no anger or frustration involved.

I did receive an offer and the knife is sold. Thanks everyone for looking!!

BB, i did not think there was anger in your request for an offer. my point was simply that i at least, find making an offer difficult, as even at initial asking price, i doubt your hourly return is that great.
glad to hear it may have found it's new home.
