Hello,
I have a "forged to shape" pattern welded knife for sale.
The steel is approx 144 layers of band saw blade and pallet strap. I've had these steels checked by a metallurgist and the band saw blade is not in her book, but the spectrograph, puts it over .51%C and the pallet strap is 1050.
I quench in 140oF brine and temper at 375oF for 2 hours.
You can see the hammered in tapers, both tang and blade.
OAL= 7 13/16", point to finger groove= 2 9/16", blade= 2 3/8"
The handle is epoxied boot lace.
It does have a kydex blade protector, but no means to hook it to a belt.
I'm asking $150 for this knife including shipping and insurance USPS priority mail ConUS.
Thanks for looking.
