Fully forged from 3/16" thick 1095 come this trailing point knife. It is flat ground with a differential heat treatment (edge hardness Rc 60 and spine in low 50's). The blade was left with the hammer marks and forging scales on the flats for character and the grinds are hand sanded finished. Its tang was also shaped and tapered by forging giving the knife a great balance in the hand.
