Here is a my Thomas Van Krevelen Alaskan Hunter, forged from W1. Used in the kitchen so the patina is honest and not forced. The only use it has seen is in the kitchen. It is as stated forged from W1 steel, with a coco bola handle and leather spacer. Silver soldered nickel silver guard. All hand done. You can look on YouTube and type in his name and see a very similar knife being made by him along with the sheath. It is a series of demo's he did on his shop in Wasilla AK. He now owns and operates a commercial knife business.

Specs on the knife: 5" blade, 3/16" spine thickness and a handle that is 5"long. Deferentially hardened blade and soldered on guard done very well. Makers signature is very lightly etched on the top right hand side of blade near the spine. You can still see it but is light. Handmade leather sheath that is a pull through design, again very well executed. I've not seen to much of his stuff at all around the net but am sure it is out there. This has a "apple seed" or a true Moran grind so it is fairly easy to keep razor sharp. Never used outside but has been used as stated in the kitchen, wiped down and oiled after each use but still a very slight patina to the blade. I do enjoy carrying this knife BUT am paring down my collection as I have more than a few knives in this size. This will be listed here for a few days. I ship fast and take pp and m.o.'s SOLD Tiny bit of wiggle room on the price. keepem sharp and thanks
