This one is forged from some W2 from Mr. Hanson. What is exposed of the flats is left as forged, and it is clay quenched for a nice hamon. The spine is fileworked also.

The handle is African Blackwood. It has some of the heartwood in it. I bookmatched the heartwood so it looks like it extends across the back of the handle.

The sheath is hand stitched 8oz leather, with a basket weave pattern on it.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 1/8" tip to handle
OAL - 9 3/4"

Price - $265 shipped to US. I prefer paypal to matt(at)baileyknives.com, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Another beauty. If I didn't have myself strung out with another knife ordered from you already, I'd vacuum this one up! The blade shape on that one is lovely.

Uncanny matching of colors in the handle and sheath. Very striking. Great job, Matt.
