I want all my folders to have little holes at the top, so instead of double clicking I click, hold, and shake the mouse downward to open them

That's "folders" as in directories, not as in folding knives. Didn't even occur to me! Dumb ol' bear...

I wasn't implying that you do it! I'm sure some savey computer guru out there would put it together if we had the ok. Just please email it to me or post a link.

How about the spyder symbol as one of the icons or a cursor.

Just tell sal that it could be free advertizing on knife knut computers everywhere!

Actually Corduroy you were right the first time (at least in my case). The things PC people call "directories" have been labeled as "folders" in the Mac OS ever since 1984, literally years before Bill Gates got together that abortion he named Windows v 1.0. We don't all access this list from Win 3.1/95/98/NT. I'm running a dual boot Power Mac 9600 with OS 8.6 one way and LinuxPPC 5.0 the other. So a Windows 95/98 "Desktop theme" wouldn't work for me. But a picture that could be used for a background picture or "wallpaper" would be good. Say 800 X 600 and thousands of colors. (I normally run 832 X 624).

How many Spydercos can I fit on my scanner?

I did a Benchmade 1024x768 wallpaper, with a couple of smaller sizes. I'll have to put a bunch of Spydies down on the glass when I get back into town next week.

I (for one) will have a go at it! Just be patient for some time, work-related matters are taking up A LOT of time (physical absence...)! Could you fellow forumites please post some ideas to this thread... things you would like to see...

I will post a link as soon as I am satisfied with the attempt! (the link will possibly point to my site - which also has a lot of full-sized Spydie pics... for those of you who might already have discovered it....

just a thought on a screensaver...large military knife w/all the other models flying through the hole in the blade....stars in the background...kinda like flying into a black hole

A background picture(preferably in JPG) format might have the most appeal. Although you can change the icons in any operating systems, it takes some work in MacOS(old f(r)iend Res Edit) and Linux(if you're using fvwm2, edit the rc file). BG pictures are easy to change in any OS/WM.
