  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Forget the village models. Email from Pala via Dambar. Please read.

"plain, thick, heavy"

Holy smokes! how heavy can a blade get. The HI models are no lightweights. They must be leaving the mercedes attached to the spring.

I'll second Tisimi.. just keep sending them knives.

Uncle Bill,

I think Pala may not be considering some things. With the PGA's you've been selling, you can't be making the same profits you normally would be. I was thinking a line of village khuks in the $50 to $150 range, that could bring in more profit compared to selling PGA's at half price. It's really a hard thing to predict, though. Maybe making a few less-fancy models for PGA's would work? I guess we'll just see what the kami's say.

Another thing to consider is your shipping problems. Using UPS may not be the best way to get khuks to the U.S.. I used to work in the shipping industry, and I was wondering if any freight-forwarding companies work out of Nepal? If so, these companies specialize in moving commercial freight around the world. Maybe somebody like Kuehne & Nagel, Fritz, or Emery? It might be worth a look. Anyway, hope this helps. :(
