Great photos and a excelent tutorial....I know now that I really need new dyes for my 50# I need a set that are the same size top and bottom and I need to make me some of those cool tools you hand hold under the hammer.

Curt - it's kind of loud and shakes the floor when it's stompin but it can hit as light and easy has you want also.
Bruce - large flat dies of equal size top and bottom are the "rats ass" for forge welding and blade forging. I rounded off all the sharp edges real good and work off the ends of the dies has much as the front.
