Forging stainless, other pointy objects

A few months back I made a knife and marlin spike set for a yacht club. It was quite a success. I had a few orders for just the spike. I started making some in more traditional blacksmithing style, just with stainless. This is not knife grade stainless. Probably 410 or 416. Quite pleased with the way the steel moved under the hammer. But it sure has given me the urge to hammer on some of the 154CM I have.

Looks cool. I don't fish so I'll have to assume that they're a form of fishing hook...

Rody, There not a fishing hook. There used for working rope.

Mike, I think you'll have a nice surprise if you try forging the 154CM. I can see these being a big hit at a yacht club. I would guess that would be one place where money isn't a problem.
