forgive me everyone.....i just bought a gerber brand knife..

I had a PE Air Ranger about 5 years ago. I bought it used on the bay, and when it arrived two of the screw heads were stripped out. I emailed Gerber telling them this and asking what size screws these knives used, as I planned to buy some new ones from knifekits.com. The lady asked me for my physical address and told me they'd send some out. About 4 days later I received 5 new screws in the mail free o' charge. Once the screws were replaced, the knife was awesome. I unfortunately lost it about a year later, and the PE version is long discontinued. I definitely had no complaints with the knife while I had it or with Gerber's CS.

When I was young I considered Gerber to be the holy grail of knives....Hahaha! I grew up a little since then. I like all knives, I like all knife reviews, the only thing I do not like is the blade snobs trying to convince everyone who doesn't pay $200 + for a knife they bought a lemon. I own a few higher price knives a few Spydies and a few Grohman. I would never tell anyone they bought a junker because your budget is yours, my budget is mine. I own a few Gerber knives my Icon being my favourite, and I also picked up a $15 Gerber Gator that is in the mail... Always wanted a Gator, 7 days and it will be here!

Enjoy your knife, I have at least 50 of them... I thought my Para 2 would be my last.... NOPE... +2 and counting!
