I got a new kydex super sheath coming in as part of a 2-sheath package for the next installment of "Best Kydex Sheaths" on my channel. Thinking since it's a nice new sheath, maybe I should upgrade to the BK24? What, if any (other than no coating...yay!) is the advantage of having this knife be D2 instead of my beloved 1095CV?

I'm also going to re-do all my Becker videos. I've gotten better at it, and since they are my flagship knives, I want the videos to be better. I was looking at other knives to review, but I got to thinking...I don't want to. I already think the BK7 and BK9 are the best knives out there, and I should make that point with my channel. I don't want a pile of knives lying around I'm not going to use. Going to make that point in the videos too...The reason I'm re-doing these and not reviewing something new is because I believe THAT MUCH in them. Now go buy one and thank me later!

Also...can someone give me a link to Moose's store? I may get another 9 soon, and I don't trust Amazon to have 2013 stock in. Wanted another CS Bushman and they are still trying to get rid of the old ones.

Moose don't have his store anymore, I don't believe.

Oh and where and what kydex are you getting. I'm looking at upgrading my 14 pants soon too

It's a godspeed tactical BK14/24 sheath set up for a TDI clip with a nanostriker holder and fire steel striker integrated into the sheath. And a fully pimped out BK7 survival scout rig. Video within a day of receipt.

Azwelke has great BK14 kydex too.

Found this on google. Looks to be Guyons. Any idea where these scales came from?

Scales came for Sh@rp, here on the forums. He hasn't been around for some time though. Mine:

Any other good custom scales readily available where the hole stays exposed? That's my main gripe with the kabar ones.

btw, I'm going to clich Jessica (today). Nervous, because that's my baby.... if I can find letter stickers the right size, it'll be an etch/clich job.

About 'upgrading' to a bk24... If your point is that you love bk&t knives, you shouldn't think so much and just order it already:p

Wow that guy over at Godspeed Tactical is very full of himself. It's kind of a turn off.

Lol, thanks? If you have a more specific critique I'd love to hear it. I'm actually a really humble guy but I'm damn proud of my Kydex work and I'll put it up against ANY Kydex sheaths! I'm just glad my self-confidence wasn't a "turn on" for you:D

"Godspeed Tactical is the industry leader in Kydex sheath innovation!"

This is true, if you take a look at my work... and my site is outdated because I had to close my shop down for six months.... you'll see that I'm doing things nobody else is doing.... a lot of my work has been copied (but whose hasn't right?);).

"The Pouch-Sheath is another Godspeed Tactical original design"

You might've misunderstood that statement without seeing what I'm referring to on my site.... easy to do since there are leather pouches called "pouch-sheaths" but the name comes from my sheaths that use/mount and are shaped to the ESEE: Accessory Pouch. That design is mine and it is indeed a Godspeed Tactical original design. Nowadays there are lots of guys attaching those pouches but when I started making them for smaller knives like the Izula, BK14, etc. they're weren't any others like mine.

It has recently been brought to my attention that there is one sheath maker (that I know of) that is making a copy of one of my pouch-sheaths, in the past a "knife shop" was but after being confronted they didn't bump their ad again. I'm referring the exact shape and design that I use... not just bolting a pouch anywhere on a sheath.

This is what one of my Pouch Sheaths look like (just for reference) and again no offense taken here I can see where it's easy to take the "Pouch-Sheath" part of that statement the wrong way... maybe I need to change the name?

I almost forgot about the vertical pouches I put on a couple BK9's... this BK9 was modified by Haze and it was a really good slicer!

Back on track:
Didn't mean to derail your thread Tanner, just heard about the comment and figured I'd come take a look for myself. None of these photos are of the about five new designs that the OP was referring to.. just an explanation of my statement and what one of my Pouch-Sheaths looks like.

Can't wait to see the new vids.

I was giving an honest and genuine response to a question/statement that I thought was coming from the same place. Just brought to my attention that your a "kydex sheath maker"....... I think I might understand that post a little better now.... hope I'm wrong. Kinda feel like a just waisted 5 minutes of my life... oh well.

Hey! I thought you (Godspeed) said you didn't have a Firerod? That's one in the BK2 pouch sheath pic. Maybe I mis-spoke. At least, it LOOKS like a Firerod...Is it ESEE? Firerods have Exotac and Habilis logos on them.
