Or maybe I dont need forgiveness. As I recall, most of us like guns just as much as we like knives.

I used the money I had saved for a Pygmy Falcon2 and an RC3Mil for this:

It's a Ruger Service Six .357mag/.38spc 6 shot stainless revolver. It is a BEAST. I got a smoking deal on it that I couldn't pass up. I really really like it. It was a police trade in, and aside from some holster wear its in excellent condition. It was made in 1983. Older than me! Enjoy!

Yeah those Service/Security Sixs are nice svelte little pieces (by Ruger standards), yet they can still handle load worthy of being called "magnum".

I got real lucky and scored a blue Security Six (same gun, but with adjustable sights) back in 2002 for $125.

Didn't go back to that shop for something like six months in case he realized his mistake! LOL

My future brother in law got drunk around a campfire with a former cop and talked him out of a holster worn, but mechanically excellent Ruger Security six for $80 and a case of beer.

I offered him 100, but he wont take it :D.

Nice shooting gun.

I love a good revolver--stick it in a drawer and it's always ready to go. I've been thinking about one of these.

Very cool pen! Nice one man!:p

That's about the best I can buy here in Holland for self defense...a pen...

I am a big fan of Ruger revolvers. They may not be as refined as others but they are stout

My first duty-issued pistol was a Ruger Police Service Six.

I always liked it and when they were traded in, I bought it in the trade-in. I would never get rid of it.

I will admit that I never carried it on duty though - I opted to take the option we had at the time a purchased my own 9mm Semi-automatic. I carried the Ruger off-duty quite a bit though.

I took the Ruger through Revolver Instructor and I do love revolvers.

Nice score!

I agree. My favorite is the SP 101

One of my favorites as well. I came across a deal on one in .38 and have carried it many times. I would like to have the .357 and have thought about having the charge holes reamed.

The right .38 load in the SP-101 is just fine though.

Good deal , I'm a Ruger Fan. in fact my next tat will probably be a Ruger emblem or the name spelled down the back of my left forearm.

I agree. My favorite is the SP 101
I love that gun, even better than my P-90.
Do you got the 3" barrel?

I don't have a thing against semi-automatic pistols but it's nice to see an excellent, workhorse revolver.

I love revolvers...... my 686 is going to Shotty,I'm after another Revolver, LOL... The Elusive SP101 in 9mm ,just so I dont need to buy different ammo for my pistols

I like Ruger Firearms, I live in CT. close to the Ruger Factory in Southport. There is a gun store close that is close to the factory that deals with alot of used Rugers, especially from Ruger employees. These guns are sold by the widows of Ruger bigwigs that had received Ruger Firearms on a regular basis. They each had a certain serial number and each Ruger firearm made was given to them with that serial number. Thats what I call a great job with awesome perks !
