Forgot the name of this one, Help

I forgot the name of this one,I bought it back around 1988 or so,It has a black caribener in the tip of the knife,I use it every season on wildland fires,and everyone ask were to get one,I tell them the brand and say good luck.But i cant remember the name.Any help would be great.
 
I guess you describe a Spyderco C26 Snap-It (produced from 1993-2002). Here is one with red FRN handles, plain :)

They're out of production, and have gotten fairly hard to find, but do show up on eBay occasionally. Perhaps the currently produced Remote Release II would fill the bill for your co-workers.
 
I will tell them about the remote,I have two snap-its,and i wont get rid of them.I thought i bought them early than that,I guess im not as old as i feel:D
