My first ever forged knife out of a tang cut off scrap of one of my stock removal blades.

The anvil worked great and forging is truly a humbling experience!

Do you say thats a 3 layer damascus anvil ?
That weld line really shous up.

Thanks gents! Now I'm just trying to search as much as I can about forging. Hammer marks are killing me

I'm lucky enough to have an industrial bandsaw at my disposal. I couldn't imagine trying to cut one with anything else. A local metal yard should be able to make cuts for you for a few bucks. You'd spend more on cutting wheels. The forks don't cut very clean with a torch.
