For affirming what HJK was saying the other day about how Conservatives are treated much more harshly than the Leftists on this forum. Did you see how much leeway HJK gave that **** Mr. Fish the other day? And Mr. Fish even put an "LOL" in his half assed response to HJK, yet, Mr. Fish didn't even get an infraction.

And yes, it's was amusing to me that HJK started calling him "Mr. Fish", but you made no mention to him about this when he started calling him that a couple of months. You also made no mention of the MANY time that ******* Mr. Fish calls people all sorts of names, like "silly", "dummy", and "coward", but hop on me about that.

I didn't realize a simple emoji can get me banned when the Leftists use them all the time to try to incite a response and you never say a word about it. Even when it's brought up. If I find something funny, I will continue to use that emoji like they do. If it gets me banned, so be it.

1. You got banned for a couple days as a cooling off period. You are lucky it wasn't permanent. You obviously didn't learn from it.

2. You should have been smarter than to call more attention to yourself in this situation.

I have to say, I believe this is the first time I've ever heard someone make this complaint

4. If you don't understand how an emoji can get you banned, then you don't understand things like "context" or "nuance" and probably shouldn't be a participant in the PA. Please return after attending Philosophy 101 or similar forms of higher education.

I believe I see the problem. You think you own this place. You do not. You are a guest. As such, you should probably read the rules, especially the very first one that states, in bold & capital letters, to RESPECT THE MODERATOR STAFF

You now have my attention. Are you familiar with the story "The Monkey's Paw" by W.W. Jacobs?

Respect is EARNED. And most of them haven't earned my respect. If you read some of their comments here, perhaps you'll understand why.

If they don't follow the rules, why should I? And they don't.

Yes, I am a guest here. I don't act like I own this place. That's most of the Mods' problem here. THEY think they own this place and can do and say whatever they want. YOU own this place. You don't seem to care how it is moderated.

I've read the rules and adhere to them. I also point out when the Mods don't. And for that, I get banned?

Ron, as I see it you have only a few choices.

Cut your losses and move on. Log off voluntarily. Or commit suicide by Mod (or owner).

You won't win this way...that I can pretty much guarantee. And I think I've always been a straight shooter with you.

You seem to think I don't have a voice because it's not popular. I'm not looking to "win". I'm looking to make a point. And I have. The rest is up to you.

EDIT: BTW, the only reason I started this thread was because Boru13 Boru13 recommended it. Where does one complain about a Mod, then?

Here Blues Blues . This is Boru13 Boru13 's response to my PM: Bolded mine. I did exactly what he recommended.

I was fully willing to handle this problem in PMs. But after a response like that...well...as I said, I followed his recommendation.

And notice, I didn't instigate or reply to any of the other comments made here. I waited until someone actually addressed my concern.

So I came back to reply.

If I get banned, (which is pretty much assured at this point), it will be yours and the owner's decision to make. Why? Because I don't "respect the mods"? Do you see how they behave? In this thread alone?

If I don't, once this is resolved, you won't hear from me anyway. I stopped posting in the PA, or anywhere else. As King of the Cheese King of the Cheese said, I've left the building and only came back once someone actually addressed my concern.

Boru13 Boru13 in my experience has been a level headed moderator and one I trust to speak with back channel when I want to get a well reasoned point of view to consider. And I certainly don't think I've ever seen him take a harsh position against "conservatives", though he may take a stance against bad or unseemly behavior.

That said, none of us are perfect and we've all made mistakes...you, me, the mods, Spark etc.

So, again, how do you see this ending or what remedy are you seeking?

The way things stand, it seems to me you're intent on forcing a conclusion no one intended.
