I'd like to engage but it's rude not having introduced myself. I'm super happily married, three kids & a small dog.
I'm 44, in construction 23yrs & married 19. I love knives, watches, a/v, my wife & buy tools; lots of tools 4 lots of trades.
I don't book my face or socialize well in person or forums, i'm under construction though.
Thank You for Your forum.

Welcome to the porch. We'll definitely be interested to hear your thoughts and see pictures of your knives. (we require lots and lots of pictures) :D

Welcome, cameron! How did you end up in this neck of the internet woods?
I think that it's cool that you wanted to politely introduce yourself first. (Interesting that you have 3 kids and a small dog; we have 3 small dogs and a kid!)
Now that the formalities are out of the way, engage away, sir! ;)

Welcome the the Traditional hangout. If you've done some reading before joining, you'll quickly catch on, make some friends, learn a lot and probably end up buying a few to a hundred new knives in the process. Enjoy!!

Welcome to the Porch it's the friendliest place on the internet. However be prepared for your wallet to get thinner and your knife drawer to get fuller.

Welcome these are some of the finest folks you will find around. Pick up your traditional whittle a bit and open a cold brew to celebrate the weekend.

I'm pretty new myself but welcome aboard, Cameron. Tell us about your traditional knives and better yet, post photos!

What do you like in a knife and why?

Everyone loves pictures (me too); i don't have many knives but i'd be glad to share my modest workers. Photo Bucket was super simple to use and now i can't get copy codes, spent evenings trying to work it out I've been researching alternate image posting methods. Hope to make it happen soon, times always short.
Thanx Cory!

Welcome! What is your usual carry?
Hey Ernie. Currently an Imperial 2 blade folder, an other Shcrade, barlow. I've lost several knives and gave up on clipped blades for quite a while. On Christmas My dear daughter re-appropriated a little Imperial i'd carried for a long time, like a young lady needs a blade; oh, well they do but, yeah i lost that one - the modest blade and the argument.
Thank You for the "Welcome!" .

Hi GT. Some time back I moved to this great united states of blade forums out'a love for all things bladed. i stumbled into Your neck of the woods (the porch, very cool BTW) following BF general discussions. The beauty and nostalgia that accompanies Your knives keeps calling me back. The warm feel of the porch and the accompanied knowledge is intriguing and inviting. I'll ogle the WTK are ya toxin'... on my cell and every time i pull 'em back up on my laptop or PC the depth of detail and craftsmanship sticks me yet again, i could go on.
I appreciate the ha da do GT, thanx.

Welcome from the Northeast. Pull up a chair and have some fun. There are a lot of great guys and gals here.

Welcome aboard Cameron.
Thanks for introducing yourself.
Just be aware that you may encounter some irreverent and irrelevant postings from an Australian who lurks these waters like a flabby stingray that thinks it is a White Pointer.
Think nothing of it.Feel free to snicker at his odd rantings though if the mood takes you.

And he doesn't actually hate people from New Zealand.
(except Fes and Duncan):p
